Twenty-one defibrillators are currently available on Edinburgh Trams with a further six to be added in July / August 2017. These defibrillators are not restricted to tram passengers, but can be accessed at any time during tram operational hours, at each tram stop. A member of the public needing access to the defibrillators can use the Emergency Help Point Button at a Tram Stop: the 24/7 manned centre will call the Emergency Services and advise when the next tram with a defibrillator is due at that stop.
